Chad Sampson is a Singer-songwriter who grew up in the bustling suburban landscape of Portage, Michigan.  He plays acoustic covers and originals, all in a style that might be described as indie-emo-alternative folk rock with a smile. The music ranges from 90's grunge all the way back to the sixties and seventies.

 

 

For the past ten years, Chad has been playing at bars, private parties, and country clubs all over lower Michigan and central North Carolina. He has performed in the bands Out Stairs and Psuedo Simon. In his solo career, he has shared the stage with many local musicians including Jeff Mueller, Alex Mays, Meagan Dooley, and Joe Wing and the Test Pilots. 

 

 

In his spare time, Chad likes to write and record music, read rather cheesy fantasy novels, and perfect his prowess at the Jedi mind trick.
